In advance of the upcoming the Beijing Motor Show, Volkswagen has unveiled the new Golf R 400 concept. Amongst the highlights is a modified version of the 2.0 liter turbocharged engine found in the standard Golf GTI and R, with the R 400 boasting almost 400 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. This ride is capable of doing 0-62 mph in a blistering 3.9 seconds, by channeling all that horsepower through four wheels, making for a smooth drive. Aesthetically, the design sits lower than the standard models, while yellow trim accents the grey body. While the Volkswagen Golf R 400 remains just a concept, there is potential that the car will hit the market in limited quantities sometime soon. Stay tuned for more information.
