A Store In Wisconsin Just Won Leather Jackets With This Schott NYC X Horween Tannery Collaboration
Usually it’s the bigwig streetwear/high-end apparel purveyors at Union, Atrium or Dover Street Market who end up landing the most exciting collaborative releases. But a store in Madison, WI has dropped one of the most beautiful 60-unit leather jacket releases we’ve seen in a long time. The store is named Context, and they’ve brought together the legendary jacket manufacturers at Schott NYC and the legendary leather makers at Horween Tannery for an update of the classic “D Pocket” horsehide Perfecto jacket, designed by Irving Schott in 1928. The piece features front quarter, top grain, and natural Chromexel horsehide sourced from Horween’s Chicago factory and hand made in the Schott NYC factory in Union, New Jersey. The best part? Natural Chromexcel requires no care and benefits from consistent wear, so this piece is made to be timeless.
It’s the kind of piece that leather aficionados fantasize over and fathers pass down to their sons. So, assuming you’re NOT in Madison, WI, visit the company’s webstore. If you are, visit their brick-and-mortar.Context
