Due to some reasons, a person may act differently.
We can say the Hawthrone effect applies here. A new environment for us can pique our interest in the experiment. For example, if someone asks you to taste the fish and give marks in the supermarket, then you might provide high marking there, but when you reach home and eat the same, you will find that there is nothing much unique about that fish.
Before taking the decision, you must think critically but take time. Do not give high marking to know that people gave you importance.
People will blame for the unfinished task and forget the finished ones.
When a person most likely remembers the uncomplete tasks, then it is known as the Zeigarnik effect. A waiter will never forget which order has not come to which person and hence when they will receive then they shift attention to someone else. You remember everything later on, and so it is a request to complete your tasks on time so that you will not have to face future problems.
People buy costly things for a particular purpose.
The time when there are some special occasion people go to buy the best products for them so that others can check their status with those things. We demand the expensive products, and it is known as Veblen effect. People always think about their social status. If we get some discount on the products, then you think that might be defective for you.
