Lemon Face Pack DIY for glowing skin

What will you need to make a lemon face pack

The main ingredients here are lemon and milk. Lemon has bleaching properties whereas milk can moisturize your skin beautifully.

LEMON

We will require lemon juice as well as a lemon peel for this remedy. Lemon is rich in Vitamin C. It has antibacterial properties too. It will help you get rid of acne and also brighten the skin texture. Lemon peel has more Vitamin C than the juice.

MILK

Milk has malic acid and lactic acid. It helps in scar reduction and keeps the skin moisturized.

TURMERIC

This helps to lighten the scars and has anti-inflammatory properties. It will promote the promotion of collagen in the skin making it healthy.

MULTANI MITTI

This will absorb excess oil from the face and make it glow.

GRAM FLOUR

This has a cleansing action on the skin.

PREPARATION:

Take a lemon. Grate it in a way that only its peel is grated.

Cut the lemon and squeeze out half of it.

Add one spoon each of gram flour and Multani mitti.

Add a pinch of turmeric and some milk to get a good consistency. Make sure that the pack is not thick.

Usage:

Cleanse your face well before applying the pack.

Take steam for about 8 minutes so that the pores open up and the pack can act upon the skin.

Apply the pack and let it stay for 20 minutes.

Gently massage circularly after 20 minutes and then wash using lukewarm water. Finish using cold water.

Moisturize after rinsing the pack off.

You will find glowing skin after you wash the pack off. The pack will take away blackheads and whiteheads too. The pores will look smoother and clear. Any acne breakouts will be prevented after the usage of the pack. Your skin will be free of oil.

Don’t wait for the pack to dry. Hen it starts to wipe, wash it.

Use the pack at least three times a week.

If you have fragile skin, it could sting a little.

Add honey for moisturizing effect, if your skin is extra dry.

You can add any essential oil if you wish to.
