Unwashed tools

The first step is to clean your hands properly. There are the harmful bacteria stored in the largest amount under and around the area of your fingernails. We use the same tools for manicuring the nails of many women. So the germs will get spread at the large scale if you do not wash the tools properly. It can become the risk of contamination. The bacteria get intensified if you store or keep the tools in a closed bag.
- Store the manicure tools in a container and wash them properly with alcohol or disinfectant before and after using them.
Cutting your cuticles

To get the look of nipped cuticles, you have to take a rosewood stick. Using the stick, push the cuticles back. In this way, your fingernails will not get infected and will look like beautiful nails.
You are not using a base coat.

Many women making mistakes in manicure here when they think that there is no need for the basecoat. It is the wastage of time in applying the basecoat. While getting the manicure, most of the women skip this first necessary step. You need to use the basecoat to hide the natural nails, and manicure will last longer with the basecoat. Basecat prevents the nail polish from the natural oil that our nails produce.
Using Q-tips

Using Q-tips for removing the waste nail paint from your skin that sticks around your fingers nails while applying the nail polish on your nails. When you are removing it, the Q-tip can even get in contact with your wet nail paint and can ruin it. So you will need to again start from the beginning. So in place of Q-tips, you can use a little makeup brush to clean the extra nail polish.
Filling back and forth

You should fill your nails in the circular motion. With filling back and forth, your nails become weaker. To prevent your nails, you can also fill them in one direction. And this will also save your money to spend on the recovery of weaker nails.
You are not applying the nail paint underneath the edges.

Your manicure can quickly get the flake with water while washing the dishes or clothes. So to avoid this thing, you can apply the nail paint around and underneath the nails’ edges. The water gets trapped in your nails during washing the clothes or dishes which ruin the nail polish.
So you should thoroughly apply the nail polish underneath and around your nails’ edges which will keep your manicure for more than five days.
Drying nails in the cold water

To dry your nails faster, you dip your nails in the cold water. It is just a myth to dry up your nails like this. Your nails get harder with the cold water instead of drying them. Your nails require precious oxygen to get dry. So you should not use the cold water to dry up your nails instead switch on the fan to provide your nails natural air to dry your nails.
Shaking the nail polish bottle

We should not shake the nail polish bottle before applying it on our nails. With shaking the bottle, the air inside the bottle gets mixed with the nail polish and bubbles cause in the bottle. And when we paint our nails, it looks uneven on the nails because of the bubbles in the polish. You can roll the bottle instead of shaking it.
