Soldiers are brave no matter what are the conditions around them. And now one soldier is going back to his home after losing his one arm and both the legs in the country Korea. When he was back in Los Angeles, he planned to inform his parents that he is trying again to move to the American soil soon and will be right there at home after some time.
The man was unsure how he should tell his parents about his current position and how he can disclose the facts of the war that what has happened to him. And then he planned to say to his parents the faulted story of his friend that he is bringing one fault friend with him to the home.
Then he told his parents that “My friend stepped on a landmine and lost his legs and an arm. He can not live alone, and so I want to help him out.” Then his father replied by saying that “That is terrible, son. Maybe we could help him find a good place to live.”
The son explained the condition saying that “No, Dad, I was hoping you and Mom would let him live with us. He could use a family right now.”
It seems difficult for him to bring himself back to the home when the soldier’s mother said that “Honey, we do not think you realize how difficult it is to take care of a handicapped person.” It seems the mother was not having any sympathy for such disabled people while she did not know what her son is up to the plan.
His mother added on to tell him that “They need constant care, physical therapy, and our home just isn’t built to let him live here comfortably. We’d have to drop everything we’re doing and spend all of our time taking care of him. We already did that when you were growing up, and we can not afford to do that again. There are tons of resources for wounded veterans nowadays. Someone else would be able to help him a lot more than we ever could.”

Now, the parents were left no more with some idea that when their son will reach home and they do not know what time it can take them and no chance if he returns home ever or not. For him, the people who loved him the most has now left him with no turn. Then after a few days, his parents received a call from the police department of Los Angeles. And they had to fly over to check if he was their son and then the parents move there with the first and found their son dead.
