We have our AFC and NFC Champions after another amazing weekend of football. The Cincinnati Bengals were able to take down the Kansas City Chiefs and become the 2021-2022 AFC Championship. Following that game, the Rams were able to mount a second-half comeback and walk away victorious over the 49ers.

After a weekend of great football, there are always awesome gambling cards that get posted to social media, describing some of their best wins. Let’s look at the NFL stats from this weekend and discuss what some top bets would have been.

Bengals’ Moneyline

Going into the game Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals were a full touchdown underdog, with the line sitting right around seven points. The Chiefs scored on their first two drives of the game and then again in the first half. The Bengals were down 21-3 at halftime.

If a bettor had taken the Bengals’ Moneyline at halftime, the bettor would have gotten over +800 odds when the Bengals would mount their comeback.

Several bettors cashed in on the Bengals +400 Moneyline, which was where it was before the kickoff. The Bengals were able to make several bettors happy with their upset win. They will, more than likely, be in the same boat next weekend, headed to take on the Rams in the Super Bowl.

49er’s Cover

The Rams and the 49ers played an awesome football game on Sunday night. It was not the most thrilling offensive game, as both teams were struggling to find the end zone.

That being said, a close game allowed those bettors who took the 49ers +3.5 to stay involved the whole game. At the end of the day, those bettors who got it at +3.5 were able to win their bets, with -105 to -110 odds.

Any Time Touchdown Scorers

One of the bets that has made its waves over the last couple of years is for bettors to place bets on a person to score a touchdown at any time during the game. Players are given odds based on their typical usage in games and the number of targets they get in the red zone. Guys like Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce did not have the greatest odds since they are valuable targets.

If a bettor had placed their bet on Samaje Perine to score, they would have cashed a healthy +600 or better bet, as he could find the endzone for the Bengals.

He would have had the best odds out of any player that scored a touchdown over the weekend. Mecole Hardman of the Chiefs was a close second, who came in around +250 at most sportsbooks.

Final Score

One of the craziest bets that rolled around social media following the games on Sunday was a bettor who predicted the final scores for both games. While for most online sportsbooks, there is always an option or a spot where bettors can predict the final scores. Most people will only do this for a single game, but this bettor parlayed the final score for both games.

When the bettor made this bet, the odds of hitting it were +2895000. The bettor placed a $20 bet on this parlay, and the unthinkable happened.

The bettor was able to win a remarkable $579,020. While not many people in the world would have told this bettor that this would be a wise choice, half a million dollars seems like the bettor made the decision of a lifetime.

Future Bets

NFL stats will definitely help when making future bets. Betting on any time touchdown scorers has real potential for easy money to be made.

For the Super Bowl, it is assumed Cooper Kupp and Ja’Mar Chase will have the highest odds for a touchdown. The players to look at would be Odell Beckham Jr. for the Rams and Tee Higgins for the Bengals.
