Disney link stories defined after all it is a small world-We all grew up in a whole different Disney world. Every vacation we used to wait to see our favorite Disney characters. I remember asking my mother to change my wardrobe into a Disney princess wardrobe. We used to be about this imaginary world. Through these characters, we lived our fairytale dream and happily ever after to life. Have you ever thought of the tricks that creators added to make the films look more adorable? Movies must be as old as time, but they are still the classics we like to watch again and again. Our imaginary Disney world is also a small world after all and to understand this let see some-
FROZEN PARENTS SET SAIL FROM ARENDELLE
The kingdom of Arendelle, the first hint, when Anna considers the world outside the castle. And finally, she enters a whole new world away from the lonely castle. The gates open and visitors start to come and the neighbours around keep flooding to attend Elsa’s royal coronation. Among those making their way into the royal castle, however, are Flynn Rider and Rapunzel from Tangled! Let us see a further theory, other than the royal families of Arendelle and Corona, many other families and characters are connected.
SECRETLY SISTERS
F we see that character of Elsa’s mother and Rapunzel’s mother, both have kind of same looks! Is not that strange? The two may not be just friends but are like sisters! Maybe they are cousins, but there is a chance that they are considered related to each other. The theory also explains how the royal families are a reason that the power’s royal princesses possess is that of their families. Rapunzel spreads her magic with her magical golden hair whereas Elsa spreads the eternal winter with her magical powers.
The movie doesn’t explicitly speak of when Elsa’s parents left their children, but it can be assumed that the two queens were indeed related to one another. The family must have known about Rapunzel’s return to the kingdom and also about her wedding.
NOT JUST THE FACES, BUT THE PLACE
Did you ever think that the places we saw in the movies exist? Yes! The areas do exist and have real origins. The kingdom of Arendelle is based on a site in Norway. Also, the architecture of the castle in Corona is believed to have 18th Century Germanic Ideas, where the Grimm brothers created the story of Rapunzel. It is seen that Elsa’s parents might have been traveling between these two countries.
It is believed that Elsa’s parents never reached Corona; the crashing waves swept away the ship, and we never saw it again. But, think again, did we never see it still? We did! In The Little Mermaid. It is possible that the ship was wrecked near the coast of Denmark, where Hans Christian Anderson wrote the story about the sea princess who longs to live like a human being. It is possible that Ariel’s shipwreck is the same ship that carried Elsa’s parents.
TWO WORLDS, ONE FAMILY
Now the directors of Frozen themselves revealed that Elsa’s parents didn’t die. They survived and got stuck in the jungle. They made a home, and also the queen gave birth to another child.
Chris Buck, the director of Frozen and Tarzan, added that “the ship completely diverged from its Scandinavian route into the tropical regions of the world.” the parents soon faced their doom when a leopard had eaten them, leaving the boy an orphan. So, Tarzan is Elsa and Anna’s unknown brother.
ANOTHER SHIP, ANOTHER KING
Cinderella, the classic story we have heard for a long time even before Frozen, Tangled, and Tarzan. We all know how Ursula tricked Prince Eric into marrying her by stealing Ariel’s voice. Another unsuccessful ship: the Grand Duke and King from Cinderella.
MORE WEDDINGS AND SPOTTINGS!
Disney made all the kids dream of their lavish wedding and their prince charming. As spoken by the creators Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, the king, and queen of Arendelle were traveling to a wedding. Does the question arise that who’s marriage was they to attend? It can be Tiana and Naveen or Cinderella and her dream wedding where Princess Aurora also made an appearance.
UNDER THE SEA OR OUT OF THE SEA?
Moana and The Little Mermaid are entirely opposites, but the creators that worked on these were almost the same. Ariel always longed for the life where she can walk on her feet, Moana instead the land wanted for the sea to guide her on the path to prove her. But, families kept confining them.

Also, Flounder, from The Little Mermaid, made his appearance in Maui’s little song.
A TWINKLE OF A TINK!
The little fairy we saw fluttering in about the cave, that little creature helped the princess Eilonwy, Taran and their friends to get out. She is the twinkling green Tinker Bell.
THE DESCENDANT AND THE TEAPOT
The pot also has been the oldest and the most known. In the story Tarzan, Jane Potter who venture who ventured into the unknown territories of the jungle and befriended a strange creature which later becomes her better half. Both Beauty and the Beast and Tarzan have more connectivity than just plots.
If we see the pot, in Beauty and the Beast, all the characters were turned into humans, but the objects they before remained. Tea-pot set in Jane’s tent has a meaning. We can say that Jane Potter is the descendant of Belle and she inherited the tea set. Also, she was similar to belle, just like Belle handled the Beast; Jane also handled Tarzan, the animal-like creature.
Belle and Jane, other than having similar skills, resembled each other.
THE FAVORITE PART, YOU’LL SEE
Belle was introduced in a difference in the story Beauty and the Beast, through a song name. Belle has been fascinated with books and stories. “Far-off places, daring swordfights, magic spells, a prince in disguise!” she exclaims; a possible allusion to Aladdin, which was released the following year.
THE PROTECTIVE PARENTS PREDICAMENT
Strict parent has always been there in the Disney Princess series. Still, we had the door closed, a doorless tower or a guardian who stood there 24/7. Elsa’s parents had the reason behind these confinements. Rapunzel was stolen from the kingdom because of her magical abilities. How do you protect your child from possible kidnapping? Don’t let her go (Badum tss). The theory makes sense.
THE BLONDE BOND
Disney has always found the sneaky way out, the characters had almost similar details, and they were also linked to each other. Like, Rapunzel and Elsa, through whom Disney debunked the stereotypes. Both princesses flaunt their long blonde locks. Both Rapunzel and Elsa had similarities; they are blonde and powerful. Coming from the royal families, both had powers and were blonde, but none of them inherited it from families. It was until a baby was born with blonde hair.
THE GODS OF THE SKY AND THE SEA IN DISNEY
Some of the Disney stories were adapted from the Greek mythologies. For example, Hercules was the one; Zeus’ son and no doubt the prince of the heavens. Zeus may be the god of the sky, but Poseidon, brother of Zeus, ruled the seas. Also, he is Triton’s father, who as we all know is Ariel’s father. So starting from the depth of the ocean and touching the sky, the family tree keeps growing.
Whether the theories we applied, have changed our way of thinking about how our Disney world is so interconnected. Disney has been a puzzle all the way. The creativity of the creators and the team behind our favorite movies have done a great job. Let us keep dreaming about how our lives might change just like it happened with our Disney princesses; you will also find your Prince Charming one day.
