Here we have tested advice of our grannies,’ and we have chosen these advises which work in our lives.
For easy cleaning, use salt.
After cooking, we can easily clean the stove by pouring a thin layer of salt around the burners. All the drops and splashes will stay on the surface of the burner with salt. You can collect all the salt from it with a wet towel when the stove gets cooled down. There is no need to scrub anything on the stove. We can even use a vacuum cleaner instead of a wet wipe. It will better suck all the salt in only several seconds.
Sharpening the knife quickly
If you have a blunt knife in your hand, then you can make it sharp again by rubbing the knife against the bezel at the bottom of an ordinary porcelain plate.
Peeling off carrots quickly
It is very easy to peel off the carrots with the help of the metal scrub. A metal scrub can speedily peel off the carrots and also leaves very less waste.
Making breadcrumbs
There is an effortless way to cook breadcrumbs. We need to freeze the piece of bread in the freezer and then grate it to cook. The frozen bread can easily get grated. Grating soft bread is tough.
Protecting manicure
We always want that our manicure should not get spoiled and we also want that our rubber gloves should not get torn out. For this, you need to protect your nails. You need to put cotton balls in your each rubber gloves finger and then start the cleaning process. The cotton will not let your nails to come out through the rubber gloves.
Cleaning hacks to clean the broken eggs
You can easily remove the broken eggs from the floor. You need to cover the broken egg on the floor with the salt. It will dry up only in five minutes. After it dries up, you can swipe it with the dustpan or can also use a wet towel to sweep it up.

To save the taste and moisture of garlic, you can put it in a box and cover the garlic cloves with the salt. Salt will keep the taste of garlic as it is. Your garlic will not get dried, and the taste of garlic will remain the same after much time if you put it in a box.

Bay leaves can keep away the ants, midges, and other insects. So we can keep bay leaves in the bread box, sugar bowl, bags of flour, and flower pots to scare and keep away the insects. The insects especially ants will not get into these boxes if there are bay leaves inside the boxes.
Drying up the woolen clothes
To dry up a woolen sweater in an easy way, you can loop the pair of tights’ waist area through the throat cut of a sweater and sweater’s sleeves through its legs. As it gets shown in the above picture, you have to hang it on a clothesline or air dryer. Your sweater will not become larger in this way, and it will get dry faster.
Use old things in a new way.
We can also make good use of old small teapot. We can put twine or rope in the teapot, and whenever you need the rope, you can pull its ends through the teapot’s nose. In this way, the rope will not get tangled.
Untangling Knots
The shoelaces can easily get untangled if you pour talc powder on the tangled laces.
